The Ba-Gua mirror is a powerful feng shui cure that is very often misused. First, it should never, ever be used indoors. Second, you will need it only if there is dangerous, sharp, or attacking energy, (called Sha Chi), coming towards your house or business. The Ba-Gua mirror is not a decor element and should not be used as such.

It comes in both concave and convex form, surrounded by a wooden ba-gua in either red, green and gold color design (pictured) or yellow, black and red.

If you do find yourself in a position to protect your space from potentially dangerous situations, such as the above mentioned Sha Chi (sharp or attacking structures pointed at your building), or bad neighbors, you may choose to use the Ba-Gua mirror.

Traditionally, it is placed above the main entrance or above a big window facing outside.
