I remember an interesting case of a doctor couple who could not get along ! I saw that they had a double bed, but two separate mattresses on it. This is very bad because sleeping on separate mattresses leads to separation !

Always have a double bed with a single piece bed/ mattress only. Sleeping of married couples on two separate single beds is not as bad, and becomes sometimes necessary, when their personal lucky directions differ completely, and both of them happen to be earning members..
