Salt water is used for purifying a place, or a thing like quartz crystals. It helps in removing the negativity that a place may be having. Mopping a house daily, with salt water is considered auspicious. Five spoons of unrefined sea salt can be added to the mop water. This reduces the negative effects or the negative energies of a place.
