If you have a choice, always select your bedroom in your Most Auspicious Direction to achieve success in your career or business.

If your most auspicious direction is North then go for the bedroom that is placed in the North corner of the your house. If this is not  possible then you should try very hard to sleep with your head pointed to the North or, at the least, one of the other three of your auspicious directions.

Bedroom doors should not face any other doors. If they do, then hang a wind-chime between the doors to dissolve the bad energies created.

Don’t keep any water features, flowers or plants in the bedroom.

Keep your television sets in the living room or family room. If you have a TV in your bedroom, cover it with a cloth before you go to sleep. A television set directly facing the bed creates extremely bad energy for the couple and causes husband and wife or lovers, to be separated for long periods of time.

Never allow the mirrors to reflect the bed, as it suggests the presence of a third party. If you can’t help this then keep the mirror covered during sleep.

Positioning the Bed

Decide the position of the bed taking into account the ambitions or desires of the sleeper. For example, for a more satisfying sex lite, position the head of the bed to the north, because the northern zone governs sex. In order to improve your financial prosperity, positioning the head of the bed in the southeastern zone will help you to {r accomplish this. In the same way, positioning the head of the bed in m g the western zone will help you experience better family relationships « and communal prosperity.

Positioning the Bed in a Child’s Room

Position the bed in a child’s room only after carefully considering on what you want your child to experience. If your child has low self-esteem and is of a nervous disposition, place the head of the bed in the eastern zone to encourage greater contentment and optimism. If you would like your child to have more success in academic studies or examinations, position the head of the bed in the northeast. This zone governs self motivation and knowledge.

The most emotionally stable zone for a child who sometimes feels insecure and is prone to nightmares is the spiritual zone of the north. Place the head of the bed here to bathe your child in the Ch’i of tranquillity (north) as well as to induce a good night’s sleep.

Separate Mattresses Lead to Separation

A double bed that has two mattresses is considered very bad for the future of a marriage as it will cause the couple eventually to separate. You should make sure that your double bed is really a double bed and that you have a single piece of mattress. It is far better to have two separate beds than to sleep on a bed which has two mattresses.

Don’t Sleep Facing the Door

The best place to position your bed is diagonally opposite the door. Don’t ever place your bed so that your feet face the door as this is considered to be a bad sleeping position.

Don’t have your head or toes pointed to a toilet. Don’t have the bed headboard directly under a window.
