You can have your gates for the fencing or compound in the exalted grids described in an earlier chapter.

Have your gates placed depending on the direction the plot is. For instance, the north facing site can have its gate on the north of north-east.

The East facing site can have the gate on the east of north-east. Let the gate for the west facing site be on the west of north-west.

As for a south facing site have your gate on the south of sout teast

As a rule never have your gates on the south or west of south-west, north of north-west and east of southeast. The main entrance gate to the house should be in the mid-west or northern half of the plot. According to Vastu, a west facing north-west gate is most beneficial for the inmates.
