The Kali Mata Temple, situated in the famous city of Koikata, is famous not only in India but throughout the world. Many worshippers, tantriks and devotees have been coming here to tame the super natural power since thousands of years. Many devotees from the country also come to this temple and get their wishes fulfilled. An special attraction has been seen among the foreigners too about this temple.
It is really true that the belief in this temple of Kali Mata is infinite and absolute.
There maybe many reasons for this fame of the temple but the construction as per Vaastu is the main. It is a unique example of Vaastu due to following reasons:
There is a sacred pond in the east direction of this temple, which is known as the Kali Kund. This is always full of water of the River Ganges.
The temple premise is increased in north and east of the north-east zone near its gate no. 3.
North of the north-east zone is increased due staircase in north of the north-east zone.
The idol of Maa Kali faces south direction in the Garbh Grih is situated in the north direction. The idol is placed
deeply in the Garbh-Grih.
There is Laat Temple in front of the Kali Temple, the platform of which is high. The priests carry out religious rituals here. Devotees also sing carols in praise of Maa here.
There six entrances of the temple but most of the times gate no. 3,which is in north-east zone, is used.
The River Ganges flows from south to east direction in the west direction of the temple merely 50 yards away. The religious accreditation of this temple is more due to flowing water in its wrest direction.
Thus this temple of Maa Kali is famous world wide due to its construction as per Vaastu
Dear Aditi,
Thanks for going through the site plan of the Kali Temple at Kolkata.
Your observation is right.
EVEN THE GODS NEEDS VAASTU TO STAY ON THE EARTH.
I had specially awared the people to stay awayfrom the Yantras and Vaastu Pujas which some Pundits or Vaastu Consultants are using.
A living example is that of the Ex CM of Jharkhand (Stephen Marandi) who performed Vaastu Puja a year ago.
