Fish are the only beautiful and colourful underwater animals that are used to improve the vastu of a home. Aquariums allow people to have to have a view of water, no matter where they maybe. Water and fish both mean “wealth” in Chinese symbology. Fish are also believed to provide protection to a building. Death of a fish indicates disaster. Fish is related to promotion, achievement and success, and is a motivational affirmation.

The fish also symbolize true love. Viewing a fish before travelling is a symbol of success and good omen. Fish viewing is a tradition during Dussehra and Diwali festivals. It is our tradition to make twin fish on the main entrance of building. Fish are consi/dered to have pious souls and that’s the only reason why several fish games are the part of marriage in Bengal and why sweets exchanged in the ceremony are generally fish shaped.

The idea is that at-least view pictures of the sacred fish if you can’t see fish alive. According to our traditional belief, the first incarnation of God Vishnu was the fish. And at the time of final destruction, it was fish alone, which saved Manu and other creatures in the form of boat. Kamdev’s flag also bears the symbol of the fish. Ladies traditionally wear earrings in the shape of fish.

Sticking/Pasting this symbol at the entrance door is considered very auspicious.

Plants are highly beneficial. They lift people’s spirit and make the environment happy. Potted plants help in eradicating negative energy. Fresh flowers with bright colours and with pleasant fragrance attract beneficial positive energy to a building. Dead and dying fowers create negative energy.
